New Position Aims to Help Position State as Economic Spawning Ground

LAS VEGAS, Nev., January 12, 2007 — Stephen Brock, president of Public Company Management Corporation (OTCBB: PUBC), announced today that Bob Beers, CPA, owner of his own audit preparation firm, has been named as Nevada audit coordinator for the company. Beers’ appointment supports PCMC’s statewide initiative to promote and support business growth in the state of Nevada by preparing companies for the building of the audit package necessary to enter the capital markets.

With its business-friendly securities laws and numerous economic development incentives, Nevada is fertile ground for business growth, but such growth has been slow to materialize largely because of tightened national securities regulations, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. With Beers, PCMC will offer small and medium enterprises a personal accounting and audit coordination consultant to provide step-by-step direction and support for state and federal accounting audits necessary for companies interested in entering the capital markets through self-distribution and registration of securities.

In his new role, Beers will work with PCMC’s prospects domiciling or considering to domicile in Nevada to perform gap analysis during preliminary client screening and current state analysis. After a client is engaged, Beers will manage the client’s audit package as it is built for the client to present to their selected independent auditor in preparation for Private Placement Memorandums, State Registered Offerings and SEC registration statements. In his work with PCMC clients and prospects, Beers will engage a number of technology tools utilized by the company to create smoother workflow, including WebEx One intranets, GoTo Meeting and Skype Voice Over IP.

Beers is a multi-faceted businessman, a CPA since 1989, and a 15-year small business owner. Most recently, Beers was Vice President of Sales for Nevada’s premier human resources outsourcing firm, Payroll Solutions. As a Nevada state senator, Senator Beers is vice-chairman of the Finance Committee and Government Affairs Committee, and a member of the Legislative Issues and Elections Committee. He has been an active volunteer, serving as president of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and as treasurer of the Nevada Republican Party.
